VALLE DEL AMBROZ BOUTIQUE HOTEL
CONTENTS:
LOCATION
This Hotel is in the town of Hervás in the Extremadura district of Ambroz Valley , one of the most Northerly parts of the Region and only a few kilometres from the border with the neighbouring Salamanca Province.
HOTEL INFORMATION
The Hotel is housed in the old “Convento de los Padres Trinitarios” Convent which was founded by Juan López Ontineros and María López Burgalés in 1664. Throughout the centuries this convent has also been used as a Hospital and for many years it was even the headquarters for the Casas Consistoriales de Hervás when it was used as a town hall.
A large part of this Convent has been magnificently restored and adapted for use as a Hotel. The highlight is the two beautiful facades of the building. Inside the Hotel beautiful rooms await the visitor and the most outstanding feature is the surprising central patio whose original floor has been retained thanks to some inventive glasswork.
The 21 rooms in this Hotel are on the top floor of the building, have been originally decorated and furnished and contain all of the comforts that one would expect to find in a four star establishment: television, telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning and heating, safe, etc.

The Hotel has a Restaurant classified as “tres tenedores” (3 star) which can seat 150 diners, a café, a conference and meeting room for 150 people, a swimming pool with hydro massage and parking.
The Hotel offers a range of leisure activities in keeping with the surrounding area: quad biking, Turkish baths, bicycle rides, guided tours of Hervás and surrounds.
SURROUNDING AREA
Hervás has a magnificent historical-artistic legacy with one of the best preserved Jewish Quarters on the Iberian Peninsula. This can be found very close to the Hotel. It also contains architecture which is typical for this district and two important museums. These are the Pérez Comendador-Lerroux Museum and the Classic Motorcycle Museum.
The countryside around the town is some of the most admired in the Extremadura Region and while for much of the year the peaks of the neighbouring mountain ranges are snow capped, in summer they become a nature paradise for hiking and mountain biking, not forgetting of course the horse riding routes that can be taken from the town.
